Synopsis of course:
This course is a two-day online course for Engineering Managers, Technical Managers, Engineers, Certified Engineers, Technologists and Technicians from all disciplines. This course is designed to bring a balance between the Technical and Financial worlds.
Note: Candidates attending this course must have some basic accounting background or have completed Engineering Finance (1) or Engineering Finance (2).
Synopsis of course:
The course covers 6 modules and is as follows:
- Introduction to basic financial concepts
- Financial risk analysis and cost estimation under uncertainty
- Financial accounting for engineers (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statement)
- Project Finance (Time value of money and Project justification)
- Introduction to Funding of Technical Projects
- Product Life-Cycle Costing
