The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) offers the NEC Accredited Project Manager (APM) certification. This certification demonstrates your competence in managing projects using the NEC3 ECC contract. This grants you entry onto the Register for Accredited NEC Professionals, held by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE). This training programme fuses together the skills required of a project manager with those technical skills required by the NEC3. Taking delegates from project start-up, during to project closure, it will look at the procedures as described in the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC3), the purpose of those procedures and the consequences of not following them correctly. To deal with typical challenges that may occur and how to be an effective ECC Project Manager.
This course will help individuals recognise the key roles of a project manager and the importance of their role within it.

ECS Associates provides construction project management courses in South Africa training in two different delivery formats: classroom and on-line. It is held over 4 days. On completion of the 4 days of training the delegate must complete two assessments. The first is an online multiple choice question paper and the second is a written project report to be completed within one month of training.
